Genital herpes is a viral infection by herpes simplex virus. It can be transmitted through sexual contact, directly on the genitals or mouth. Once the virus enters the body, located near the spinal cord are presented and stay there forever. Symptoms of genital herpes are sores on the genitals and mouth.
There are two main types of herpes virus:
Herpes simplex virus 1 - manifested by sores around the mouth area
Herpes simplex virus-2 - causes injury and inflammation in the genital area and anus.
What are the symptoms of genital herpes?
Lesions in the mouth and genitals. In men, lesions appear around the penis itself or around it. In lesions of women within or outside the vagina. This is often accompanied by an unpleasant discharge.
Other signs of herpes are fever, muscle aches, headache, pain on urination, discharge, and swollen lymph nodes.
The lesions develop three to seven days after being exposed to the virus. Symptoms of genital herpes occur within two weeks after the initial infection. The first symptoms include itching and redness of the skin, causing blisters. These blisters are usually painful and do away with a two weeks. This is when the infection is very contagious. Infected persons should avoid sexual contact, since they transmit the virus to their partners.
A person should consult a doctor immediately, as soon as symptoms of genital herpes occurs in the body. Pregnant women who show signs of herpes, the risk of transmitting the disease to her child. In patients with serious illnesses such as HIV may be more ill if infected with herpes. The virus can spread quickly to his lungs, brain and other organs.
People with genital herpes should keep away from direct sunlight whenever possible. Too much sun exposure can irritate the skin. Products for the non-scented bath and hygiene must be used during treatment. A patient should wear loose clothing made of natural fibers like cotton. Drugs such as ibuprofen and aspirin can relieve pain. Fondling the irritated skin with cool, clean cloth can also be pain and discomfort. Infected people should always wash their hands all the time and should be avoided, then touch their mouths or eyes after touching wounds.
Those who are infected with genital herpes should be extremely cautious when they have sex. Infected people are still able to infect others, even if they have treatment. Contact should in any case, if lesions are present, are avoided. Condoms do not provide sufficient protection. Even kissing can transmit the virus.
To avoid contracting herpes in the first place, it should always be practiced safe sex. Monogamous sex with partners Virus Free is the best way. If this is not possible, always use a condom. For those who can cope, abstinence is always the safest procedure.

ReplyDeleteI was haven warts on my hands. I have had them for about 2 and a bit years. I am so scared what my mates are going to says and I hide my hands all of the time. I have been to the Doctors 9 times to get them treated. They all come back. I have been using Tee Tree Oil and Wartner (You freeze them at home) and they seem to be keeping the smaller warts small but they can't seem to treat the larger ones. They don't get any bigger, but then they can't shrink as much. They get smaller a little part at a time. At least they are getting smaller! As soon as I see a new wart appearing, then I treat it. I was haven herpes 2 on my private part. I have had them for about 2 and a bit years. I am so scared what my mates are going to says if there should fined out i have herpes on my private part and due to the virus my girlfriend broke up with me.
