The jock itch and genital herpes, often confused, but genital herpes at an early stage may confuse Jock itch because both diseases have similar symptoms. Jock itch is caused by a fungus that Trichophyton rubrum. It can grow anywhere in the body but most often found in hot and humid in the groin.
